URGENT !
URGE THE CLARK COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
TO DENY THE PERMIT FOR THE PROPOSED
"TIGER TENT" ATTRACTION
Click on the following links below for full story:
https://lasvegassun.com/news/2022/jan/12/residents-debate-proposal-to-bring-magic-show-tige/
The Clark County Commission will consider allowing a "Tiger Tent"
attraction to be permitted in a parking lot located on Paradise Road
south of Sahara Avenue. They will vote on this issue at their meeting on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Please contact the Commissioners and urge them to DENY the permit. Remember, this is a hearing for a "PERMIT" , so please keep your comments and concerns focused on "safety implications".
The "Tiger Tent" would put the entire community at risk, since it is
located very close to residential homes & apartment buildings.
It shouldn't be allowed in such a high-trafficked neighborhood.
It should be the main goal of the Commissioners to not only protect
the public but to ensure the safety and welfare of the tigers, as well.
The facility is not adequately designed as a natural tiger habitat.
The tigers would be kept in a cage on the premises. There is no way
to responsibly guarantee public safety.

Update:
Hello and Happy New Year to Everyone!
I'd like to thank all of you for being so diligent in contacting
the District Attorney with your concerns on animal cruelty
throughout the year. I recently had a lengthy conversation
with D.A. Steven Wolfson regarding those concerns. He
assured me he personally reads every email he receives.
Your voice has been heard. 2021 ended with the successful
prosecution of Carlos Fonseca, Jr. Sentencing included
12-48 months in prison for hanging his dog to death on a
fence. Hopefully, other animal cruelty cases will have the
same penalty for such a horrific crime.
Please take a minute to thank District Attorney Wolfson and
Judge Tierra Jones for following through with consequences
for those who abuse animals. It is especially important for
our Judges to send out a clear and moral message that
"ANIMAL CRUELTY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED" !
