Update:
Hello and Happy New Year to Everyone!
I'd like to thank all of you for being so diligent in contacting
the District Attorney with your concerns on animal cruelty
throughout the year. I recently had a lengthy conversation
with D.A. Steven Wolfson regarding those concerns. He
assured me he personally reads every email he receives.
Your voice has been heard. 2021 ended with the successful
prosecution of Carlos Fonseca, Jr. Sentencing included
12-48 months in prison for hanging his dog to death on a
fence. Hopefully, other animal cruelty cases will have the
same penalty for such a horrific crime.
Please take a minute to thank District Attorney Wolfson and
Judge Tierra Jones for following through with consequences
for those who abuse animals. It is especially important for
our Judges to send out a clear and moral message that
"ANIMAL CRUELTY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED" !

URGE THE CLARK COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO
CONSIDER A PROPOSAL BANNING THE SALE OF
DOGS, CATS, RABBITS & PIGS IN PET STORES
Click on the following links below for full story:

The Clark County Commissioners may consider a proposal prohibiting the sale of dogs, cats, rabbits, & pigs in pet stores. They will review the Business Impact Study Report in mid-July. Please urge them to move forward with the proposed " Humane Pet Store Ordinance ".
Hundreds of cities and counties across the country have already passed ordinances banning pet stores from selling puppies, kittens, rabbits, and pigs sourced from commercial breeders. Instead, pet stores can offer animals available for adoption from rescues and animal shelters.
Virtually all animals sold in pet stores come from mills - inhumane commercial breeding facilities. In addition to "puppy mills", other animals like cats, rabbits, pigs etc.. are also commercially bred.
Please contact the Commissioners below urging them to support
the ordinance. Your help is needed now!
